Responsibilities:
ACA Administration Coordinate with Field HR personnel to verify all eligible employee's complete health insurance forms during onboarding and open enrollment period.
Scan/email completed waiver/election forms to respective insurance company for processing.
Review weekly/bi-weekly payroll to verify all employees electing health coverage have correct deductions for medical contributions.
Review, correct and approve insurance bills -add/delete members when necessary.
Continually review ACA statistical information by employee in Famous for accuracy such as offer of coverage codes, address, hire date, etc for end of year upload for 1094-C filing.
Key team member for reporting/filing associated with ACA mandated regulatory deadlines.
Payroll Team member responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of weekly payroll for over 500
piece-rate or hourly employees Daily review of electronic timekeeping system entries (Pet Tiger) to ensure crew and hourly employees are following wage and hour law for breaks and meals.
Contact crew foreman or employee regarding any issues with time keeping entries.
Responsible for the weekly payroll transfer process from Pet Tiger to Famous -ensure both systems balance and payroll amounts are properly coded to correct phase codes.
Assist in the maintenance of employee records and adhere to all state and federal laws.
Post, update and reconcile all employee related payroll deductions (garnishments, tax levies, child support orders, etc.
) Resolve any issues/questions by Manager or other parties in a timely and professional manner.
Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
ACA processing experience an extreme plus Minimum 1-2 years of experience in processing payroll in the agricultural related field, a must Knowledge of Pet Tiger and Famous preferred Bilingual/Biliterate in Spanish/English, a must Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines Must be respectful, honest and demonstrate strong work ethic Computer literate in Microsoft Office-good knowledge of Excel PHYSICAL DEMANDS & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
100% of time performing job will be in an indoor office environment with the majority of that time spent sitting at a desk working in front of a computer monitor High use of communication either through telephone of one on one communication Noise level in the office is low with temperature levels between 65-80 degrees Maybe required to lift up to 10 lbs.
